Who we are

This website, datawizards.io, is operated by Data Wizards Solutions SRL, the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Registered office: Avenue Arnaud Fraiteur 15, box 23, 1050 Ixelles (Brussels), Belgium. Company / VAT number: BE 0792.385.179.

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@datawizards.io.

Scope of this policy

This is a static informational website. We do not operate user accounts, comment sections, a login area, media uploads, or a webshop. We only process personal data in the limited situations described below: when you send us a message through the contact form, when you book a call via our scheduling tool, and through privacy-friendly, aggregated usage measurement.

Contact form

When you use the contact form on our Contact page, we process the data you provide: your name, email address, your company (optional), and the content of your message. We use this data solely to read, answer, and follow up on your enquiry.

Depending on configuration, your message is either opened in your own email application (so it is sent directly to us) or transmitted through a third-party form-processing provider that forwards it to our mailbox. In both cases the recipient is Data Wizards Solutions.

Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to you.

Booking a call (Calendly)

On our Contact page we embed a scheduling widget provided by Calendly LLC (United States). When you book a call, Calendly processes the data you enter — typically your name, email address, the selected time slot, your time zone, and any details you add to the booking — in order to schedule the meeting and send confirmations and reminders.

Calendly acts as our processor for the booking and as an independent controller for the operation of its own platform. Calendly may set cookies and similar technologies when you interact with the widget. See the Calendly Privacy Notice for details.

Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to a contract and/or your engagement with the scheduling tool (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (for example page views, referrers, approximate country, and device or browser type). This measurement is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not store your IP address, does not build cross-site profiles, and does not track you across other websites.

The data is aggregated and cannot, by ordinary means, be used to identify you. See the Vercel Web Analytics privacy and compliance information.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the performance of our website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. As a technical necessity, Vercel’s servers process connection data (such as IP address and request metadata) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in securely and reliably delivering the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use first-party advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. Because of this, no consent banner is shown for our own use of the site.

The only cookies that may be set are functional cookies placed by the embedded Calendly scheduling widget on our Contact page, and only when you interact with it. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking Calendly cookies may affect the booking widget.

International data transfers

Some of our providers (Vercel and Calendly) are established in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your data

Contact enquiries: kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and thereafter only where required for our legitimate business or legal obligations (e.g. retention of commercial correspondence), after which they are deleted.

Booking data: retained for the duration needed to arrange and conduct the meeting and is also held by Calendly in line with its own retention practices.

Analytics: retained only in aggregated form for a limited period by our analytics provider.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data; to have it rectified or erased; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@datawizards.io. We will respond within the legal deadline.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.

Data Protection Officer

We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR. For any privacy-related request, please contact us at info@datawizards.io.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The current version is always available on this page; please check the “last updated” date above.
